The Meeting of the Waters videos

The Meeting of the Water is one of Thomas Moore’s greatest songs. It describes a beauty spot in the beautiful Vale of Avoca in Ireland.

It was written in the 1800s and is still being played today. Here are two versions.

This version is arranged and performed by David W Solomons – he is a guitarist, composer, singer and a one-man choir.

This one is by Maureen Hegarty who has had her own TV series on the BBC.
