He names the White Stripes, Stone Roses and Foo Fighters among his influences.

He has been writing songs since he was a teenager but stepped up a gear last year when he made it his resolution to record and release his debut album.

He accomplished his goal with the album, Don’t Tell Your Secrets to the Wind. It was recorded with Hazel O’Toole who provided backing vocals, and played the shaker, tambourine and cajon.

Finnimore recorded most of the album at his home in Dublin although a few sessions were recorded at Elektra, Temple Bar.

His debut single, When the Sky Turns Black, is available on Bandcamp and iTunes.
