Irish singer Christy Moore is backing the Save Ireland’s Forests Campaign.

The campaign, led Andrew St Ledger, fears that the national forests could be a risk if they are sold to a Swiss company and possibly other private investors.

As well as environmental concerns, the forests are seen as crucial for the Irish holiday and tourism industry.

Moore has performed at informal music sessions to lend his support to the campaign.
