Boston’s Erin Og – Irish rebel folk band

Erin Og are an Irish rebel folk band in from Boston, USA. They are made up of two Irishmen; Dave McGrath on guitar and vocals and Steve Maher on the fiddle and vocals. American, Bobby Mullis provides vocals and plays the whistle.

Their influences are the legendary traditional Irish folk performers such as Luke Kelly, Dubliners, Tommy Byrne, Wolfe tones, Clancy Bros, Christy Moore and Paul Brady.

Boston’s Erin Og

Erin Og have Irish music in their blood. They said: “We love the ballad groups we grew up listening to and we try to incorporate their individual styles into one band. We hope to do it better than anyone else.”

They have released one record, It Continues, which they published themselves. They perform at Irish festivals all over the world.
