Brendan O’Loughlin – Irish singer-songwriter

Brendan O'Loughlin, Irish singer/songwriter blends Celtic melodies into modern folk rock format

Brendan O’Loughlin

Irish Music Forever is delighted to launch its new Video Showcase which highlights the talents of some of the best artists from across the world.

Our first featured performer is singer-songwriter Brendan O’Loughlin who was born and raised in Ireland but is now based in the US.

Brendan is a well-respected figure on the folk and folk-rock circuit having toured extensively in both America and Europe. He has released several albums featuring his own unique blend of Irish-American folk rock.

Songs that reflect the Irish-American experience

Brendan has been writing his own material for more than 20 years.

His songs not only reflect his memories of growing up back in Ireland but also the experiences of emigrating to America and building a new life in a new country – an experience, of course, that was shared by millions of other Irish people before him.

Those experiences are beautifully expressed in his aptly named album – Between Two Shores.

Would you like a wider audience for your music?

We shall soon be adding more artists like Brendan to the site. We’ll be featuring some of the best singers and bands from across the world.

If you would like to take part then please get in touch. We’re looking for artists who perform Irish music or Irish style music. You can be traditional or modern. You can write your own material or concentrate on the rich folk tradition.

As long as your music is good and consistent with the tradition of Irish music and Irish folk rock then we would love to hear from you.
