British singer Ed Sheeran has come under fire from Dubliners star John Sheahan, who accused him of ‘murdering’ the classic Irish song Raglan Road. Sheeran has always been proud of his Irish heritage and spent years listening to the traditional Irish classics when he was growing up.
Ed Sheeran is proud of his Irish roots and Ireland has a big influence on his latest album Divide, featuring a song called Galway Girl and several top Irish musicians. But it doesn’t stop there. The album also has a track dedicated to his Irish granny, 92-year-old Nancy who still lives in Co Wexford.
